FAQ
Do you sell wholesale? Yes, you must purchase $250 or more to receive a 20% discount.
Do you guarantee your work? Yes, 100%. I try very hard to use only the best materials. I anneal my beads in a properly programmed kin for strength and durability. However, sometimes, despite best efforts accidents happen. I am more than happy rectify any problems that may arise with your beads or jewelry (regardless of fault). I want you to be 100% satisfied. If it has been a while since your original purchase and your jewelry needs to be restrung or cleaned up etc.... I may charge you a minimal fee for additional time and materials.
Do you do custom orders? Yes and No. I am happy to help you put together a special piece of jewelry for a special gift or that special outfit etc.... However, I am not taking special orders on numerous specific beads. I hope you understand, it really stifles my creativity and makes making beads more of a chore than the joy that it should be.
Do you host Girl Scout or Brownie troops? Yes, I have had a number of troops here and we've had a wonderful time. I usually split the troop up and one half gets a tour of my studio, information on safety, glass making techniques and tools as well as a demonstration. The other half of the troop will spend the time making a necklace or bracelet with seed beads, memory wire and one of my special handmade glass beads. What a great way to finish up their jewelry making badge!
Do you teach lampworking? I would love to pass on my knowledge and love of this art form to anyone who would be interested. I am a certified art teacher and have been lampworking for 5 years.
Do you do home shows? Yes, when I feel I have enough jewelry inventory. Unfortunately, there are many times when I do not have much jewelry made, because I do prefer making beads over making jewelry. Therefore, I tend to focus on making beads for bead shows and jewelry designers. However, please feel free to ask and given enough time, we can usually work something out. I give discounts or % of sales to the hostess.
